When you orchestrate the construction of thousands of homes, you tend to become the leading authority on the subject. That’s just what has happened to us during our 35-year history. From day one, we took on the demanding task of crafting dream homes for every buyer – not just roof-covered boxes with doors and walls. Thanks to our attention to detail, we’ve succeeded in making homeowners happy as well as earning awards and respect from the Master Builders Association, our peers and homeowners.

Robert Greācen Stewart (President): Robert started Greācen Homes in 1972 after serving his country in Vietnam. With a degree in marketing from the University of Washington, he took what he had learned from his father who built quality homes, and began developing and building some of the pre-eminent homes of the area. Now with over 1,000 home sites, 1,200 single-family homes and over 600 multi-family units on the books, Robert has welcomed his son, Mike, into the business.

During his masterful and ongoing career, Robert has been named:

• Builder of the year in 1982
• President of Master Home Builders Association in 1982
• President of National Association of Homebuilders in 1994
• Builder of the Millennium in 1999
• Master Home Builders Hall of Fame in 2007 by the Master Builders Association.

He is a Past President and current member of both the Building Industry Association of Washington and the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. In addition, he is an active member and National Life Director of the National Association of Homebuilders. He is a proud founder of the Return on Industrial Insurance program, as well as the founder of the Master Builders Education Committee. Robert has proudly served on the board of directors for the Bellevue School Foundation and Bellevue Boys and Girls Club, and currently serves on the President’s Council for South Seattle Community College.

Deborah Maxwell (Accounting and Finance): Deborah has over 30 years experience making things behind the scenes run smoothly. A Cum Laude graduate from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting, she is always eager to help future Greācen homeowners save as much as possible.

John Graves (Construction Manager): John gladly boasts over 30 years construction industry experience in addition to the distinction as one of the best land development professionals in the business. In all, he’s supervised the building of over a thousand homes, most of which have been during his 20 year career at Greācen.

Roy Humphrey (Lead Superintendent): With over 40 years of experience, Roy is one of the best-known professionals in the industry. Now in his 10th year with Greācen, Roy has proven that every great home starts with the right knowledge and know how.

Mike Stewart (Operations): A third generation builder, Mike comes to Greācen following a successful commercial banking career with Wells Fargo. A graduate from the University of Portland with a degree in Accounting and International Business, Mike brings a new perspective and view of the industry to Greācen Construction.

Elaine Boudan (Estimating and Purchasing): Elaine works closely with the entire Greācen team to ensure everything is in order, organized and ready for our exacting, high standards.

Justine Lien Justine is the newest addition to the Greacen team and brings her extraordinary design talents with her. She has a large amount of customer contact in making sure that all aspects of the house are in line with your dreams.
